Comments Draft Regulatory Technical Standards under Article 390(9) CRR2
The German Banking Industry Committee (GBIC) has issued its comments to the public consultation of the European Banking Authority (EBA) on the draft Regulatory Technical standards (RTS) on the determination of indirect exposures under Article 390(9) CRR2 EBA/CP/2020/14 to underlying clients of derivative and credit derivative contracts. In addition to proposals to adapt the methodology for calculating risk exposures arising from contracts with multiple underlying reference values to meet practical needs, GBIC asks for the entry into force of the RTS to be postponed until 1 January 2022 at the earliest.
